Section 705(2) Medium pointed (M.P.). Make point depressions approximately0.625 inches apart. Limit surface variations to 0.25 inches or less fromthe pitch line.(3) Coarse pointed (C.P.). Make point depressions approximately 1 to1.25 inches apart. Limit surface variations to 0.375 inches or less fromthe pitch line.(4) Split or seam face (S.).
