Section 151.) MOBILIZATIONDescription151.01 This work consists of moving personnel, equipment, material, andincidentals to the project and performing all work necessary before beginningwork at the project site. Mobilization includes the obtaining of permits, insurance,and bonds.Measurement151.02 Measure mobilization by the lump sum.Payment151.03 The accepted quantity, measured as provided above, will be paid at thecontract price per unit of measurement for the pay item listed below that isshown in the bid schedule. Payment will be full compensation for the workprescribed in this Section. See Subsection 109.05.The mobilization lump sum will be paid as follows:(a) Bond premiums will be reimbursed according to FAR Clause52.232-5, Payment Under Fixed-Price Construction Contracts, after receiptof the evidence of payment.(b) 50 percent of the lump sum, not to exceed 5 percent of the original contractamount, will be paid following completion of 5 percent of the originalcontract amount not including mobilization and bond premiums.(c) Payment of the remaining portion of the lump sum, up to 10 percent ofthe original contract amount, will be paid following completion of 10percent of the original contract amount not including mobilization and bondpremiums.(d) Any portion of the lump sum in excess of 10 percent of the original contractamount will be paid after final acceptance.64
