2.2 Switching On/Off the PowerSwitching the Main Power OnBy switching the main power on, the controller and memory are also turned on while the lamp lights up on the control panel. Do not switch the main power off unlessyou need to open the inside of the printer to install optional products and move or clean theprinter.Important• Do not switch off the main power immediately after switching on the main power. This may damage thehard disk and the memory or cause a machine malfunction.1. Open the front cover.2. Press the < | > side of the printer’s mainpower switch to turn on the main power.Note• The lamp lights up on the control panel.3. Close the front cover.Switching the Power OnConfirm that the main power is switched on before pressing the power switch.The printer takes approximately 28 seconds to warm up and to be ready to print afterswitching the power on. This may take more time depending on your machine configuration.Switch the power off at the end of the day or when not using the printer for an extendedperiod of time.1.
