2.3.3 Central Components<br />

2.3.3.1 CBCC<br />

Introduction<br />

The CBCC (Central Board with Coldfire Com) board performs all central control and switching<br />

functions for <strong>HiPath</strong> 3550.<br />

This description relates to the following outputs of the Central Control CBCC:<br />

● CBCC S30810-Q2935-A401) Implemented from V6.0 Rel. 10 and later.<br />

Major new CTI functions:<br />

– Integration of subboard LIM functionality<br />

– Increasing the ringing voltage of the subscriber interfaces (T/R) to approx. 65 Veff – Removal of the second V.24 interface (option V24/1)<br />

● CBCC S30810-Q2935-A301: Implemented in V5.0 and later:<br />

Major new function:<br />

CL<strong>IP</strong><br />

Subboards<br />

The following subboards (some of which are optional) can be used depending on the application:<br />

● CMS clock module small [optional]<br />

– supports all two-channel cordless connections to the <strong>HiPath</strong> 3550, <strong>HiPath</strong> 3350, Hi-<br />

Path 3500 and <strong>HiPath</strong> 3300 <strong>systems</strong>.<br />

– supports all 4, 8 and 12-channel CMI connections using the SLC16 board of the Hi-<br />

Path 3550 system.<br />

– provides the master clock for digital networking.<br />

Section 2.9 contains additional information on when CMS is used.<br />

● Clock Module ADPCM (CMA) [optional]<br />

– supports the four-channel CMI connection over a base station to the <strong>HiPath</strong> 3550, Hi-<br />

Path 3350, <strong>HiPath</strong> 3500, and <strong>HiPath</strong> 3300 <strong>systems</strong>.<br />

– in the same way as the CMS clock module small, provides the master clock for digital<br />

networking.<br />
