The Australian <strong>International</strong> <strong>Music</strong> Market is held in conjunction with the<br />

Queensland <strong>Music</strong> Festival and is attended by delegates from Australia,<br />

Asia, the Pacific, Central and South America, Japan, Europe, Canada and<br />

the United States.<br />

- The arts (including music, dance, drama and visual arts) are included in<br />

the curriculum of New Zealand schools. Guidance for programme<br />

planning is provided in a document entitled The Arts in the New Zealand<br />

Curriculum. That statement promotes learning about the musical<br />

heritages of New Zealand’s many diverse cultures and about the genres<br />
