Installation in accordance with recommendations:
� The borehole of the diamond cutting wheel must have the same
diameter as that of the mounting shank
� Disks that are out-of-balance or axial run out cause strong vibrations
and should not be installed
� The flange and the cutting wheel shaft must be completely clean of
rust, sawdust etc
Occasional cleaning with fine emery cloth is recommended
� The cutting wheel must be secured on the shaft adapter or the
cutting wheel mounting hub of the machine, but never on the screw
thread
� The bearing surface of the flange must be free of burrs and notches,
because they can cause axial runout of the disk during clamping
If necessary the flange can be levelled using a fine file
� The arrow on the disk indicates the direction of rotation

The bTI Diamond Guidance System
There are major differences in terms of speed, working
life and cutting quality when selecting a diamond
cutting wheel. All BTI diamond cutting wheels are
therefore identified according to quality with a
corresponding number of diamonds. BTI diamond
cutting wheels are also structured according to their
areas of application, machines they are used with and
dry or wet cutting. This makes it so easy for you to
select the best tool for your purposes.

Processing instructions:
� Do not exert strong pressure but rather work with the machine's own
weight
Increased pressure does not produce any significant improvement in
results, but rather causes increased abrasion, furthermore there is a risk of
tarnishing of the disk or wearing out of the segments (blue discoloration of
the steel blade)
� Do not tilt or jam cutting wheel, otherwise you risk breaking the segment
� During dry cutting, maintain a cooling-off phase every 20 seconds (with
the exception of: Coolmax disks)
� There must be enough coolant available during wet cutting in order to
rinse out the grinding debris
� Always select the disk in line with the material to be cut
� Ensure that you use the correct number of revolutions per minute in
accordance with manufacturer recommendations
� Wear protective glasses and earing protection
Safety tested
At BTI top quality is not our only priority but also the greatest possible safety in
the everyday use of diamond cutting disks. All our diamond cutting wheels are
safety tested in accordance with EN 13236.
