Processing instructions:
When gluing to surfaces ensure they are clean, dry and
firm.
The joint can be smoothed with BTI smoothing
agent (item no. 001880). The tools can be cleaned
immediately after use with BTI foam cleaner (item
no. 338093). Acrylos contains solvents. For this reason
compatibility with the surface must be checked
(perform contact test). The sealing compound tends
to become stringy. This can be avoided by abruptly
removing the sealing compound pistol. The sealing
compound is not suitable for joints under water (e.g.
aquariums), polypropylene, polyethylene and Teflon.
Acrylos should not be used for visible joints, as the
surface remains sticky for a long time and thus collects
dirt from the environment on the surface.
For applications on bitumen and tar surfaces
discoloring or changes to the properties can occur.
