1K and 2K polyurethane installation foam
To glue, install, secure, fill, build up and insulate
g 1K and 2K installation foams have strong adhesion
on concrete, plaster, masonry, wood, aluminum,
steel, styrofoam, PU hard foams and numerous
plastics such as polyester and hard PVC, except
for polyethylene, silicone rubber Teflon
g Porous, absorbent surfaces such as lime stone
brick, plaster walls and gas concrete should be
pre-treated with a suitable primer
g The surface must be stable, free of dirt, loose
parts, oils, grease and separating agents
g The mainly closed-cell structure of the PU foams
provides good build-up and insulation properties
g Not UV-resistant; therefore do not expose to
sunlight over a long period of time

Range of application:
To build up, fill and insulate window connections, pipe
ducts, wall breakthroughs and cavities, even at low
temperatures and in the winter
Processing instructions:
The surface must be stable, free of dirt, loose parts,
oils, grease and separating agents. No adhesion on PE,
PTFE and silicone. Porous, absorbent surfaces such as
lime sand brick, plaster walls and gas concrete should
be pre-treated with S400 BTI primer porous (item
no. 011521). Cover adjoining surfaces with adhesive
tape or film to prevent contamination. Screw piece of
tube on to valve. Shake the can before use for at least

g 1K and 2K installation foams are when hardened
resistant to water, oil, petrol, brines and various
solvents and not hazardous
g Cover surfaces to prevent contamination,
contaminations by fresh foam can be removed
with bTI foam cleaner
g Hardened foam can only be removed mechanically
g Avoid direct skin and eye contact with the foam.
g Ideal usage temperature of the can contents at
approx. +20 °C
g Foam line not above dia. 25 mm
g For joints above 3 cm apply several layers
of 1K foams, do not moisturize 2K foams
g Temperature resistance when hardened
-30 °C to +80 °C
g Reaction to fire acc. to DIN 4102-b2
30 seconds and repeat during application. Slightly
moisturize the surface. Release the pressure on the
valve to complete. Contaminations by fresh foam can
be removed with BTI foam cleaner; hardened foam can
only be removed mechanically. Avoid direct skin and eye
contact with the foam.
