Range of application:
Can be laid directly onto heat insulation or wood
sheathing in the whole of the steep roof area.
Processing instructions:
Lay the Roof Membrane 175 horizontally with approx.
15 cm coverage on the heat insulation or in the right
corner of the rafters. It must be free of tension but
without sag. If the roof pitch is up to 6° lower than the
standard pitch, the coverage area must be minimum
20 cm (the BTI USB 175 writing acts as the coverage
marker for the roof pitch standard). If you are insulating
up to the ridge, lay the USB 175 over the ridge with
a minimum overlap of 30 cm. Conceal the USB 175 and
secure it in place in the coverage area. Fix it in place
step by step by securing the counter batten. Use BTI
Nail Seal Tape for optimal sealing of nail holes. Conceal
the USB 175 and secure it in place in the overlap
area. Use USB Adhesive Tape to repair any damage and
glue joints and overlapping edges.
