BONDING + SEALING

Sealing compound MS-P
High grade, neutral, elastic sealing compound on MS polymer basis
g Verified safety
Complies with the provisions of DIN 18540, strained
joints in construction engineering
g Versatile joint sealing compound
Very good adhesiveness on all surfaces common in
construction; no fringe contamination on porous
surfaces such as marble and granite; fungicidal
properties thus also suitable for wet rooms
g good resistance to environmental influences
UV-resistant, good resistance to chemicals,
coating compatible* and overcoatable*
g Suitable for use in varnishing facilities
Silicone, solvents and isocyanate-free
* Terms acc. to DIN 52452, part 4
Range of application:
Strained joints in construction engineering, complies
with the provisions from DIN 18540; joint gaps between
door and window frames; any other construction and
expansion joints; sealants in ventilation, air con and
cold store facilities; use in varnishing facilities; natural
stone joints
Processing instructions:
When gluing to surfaces ensure they are clean, dry,
stable and free of grease. Pre-treat porous and soft
surfaces with S400 primer. Smooth joints with BTI
smoothing agent (item no. 001880). Tools can be
cleaned immediately after use with white spirit.
Carrying out an adhesion test on every surface is
recommended. MS-P is coating compatible but due to
the variety of colors and varnishes we recommend a
compatibility test first. The color may take longer to dry
with alkyd resin colors.
