Standard tape for secondary sealing with few requirements, sealing tap DIN 18542-bg2

surfaces should be cleaned from coarse dirt and
loose parts; installation depends on the weather

Due to the rising properties of the tape different joint
widths can be securely and simply closed
Range of application:
Connections in window construction, industrial wood/
metal building, facade technology, steep roof and flat
roof, interior expansion joints
Processing instructions:
Clean surface from coarse dirt and loose parts; remove
covering paper approx. 20 – 30 cm; lay the tape directly
from the roll approx. 2 – 4 mm below flush in the joint,
observe laying instructions in the package.
Time-delayed rising of approx. 20 minutes to 36 hours,
depending on temperature conditions; to reduce reset
times at 0 °C the tape can be warmed up after laying in
the joint using a hot air blower welder; at temperatures
above +30 °C a cooling bag is recommended on the
building site to store the tape in order to prevent fast
rising; not suitable for seal joints with standing water.
