Bitumen rubber tape with self-adhesive on one side and
aluminium, lead or copper-coated surface. The selfadhesive
side is covered with a peelable protective film.
The repair tape is wound on a paper reel and is easy to
use off the roll.
Use BTI Bitumen Primer on highly porous subsurfaces.

Range of application:
Sticks uniformly and aggressively to masonry, concrete,
wood, glass, aluminium, metals and synthetic materials.
Used to repair and ventilate seals and joints as well
as stick Vapor seals in place.
Processing instructions:
When gluing to surfaces ensure they are dry and free
of dust and dirt. You must paint porous or highly
absorbent subsurfaces with BTI Multi Primer before
applying adhesive. Not suitable for adhesion with
mechanical loading. Stick down the adhesive tape
ensuring it is free of tension and carefully press
down on it. More intense presure increases the level
of adhesion. You should check the compatibility of
aluminium butyl tape wih rubber and synthetics in
advance for possible softener migration.
