Thickness of
insulation layer
13 mm
1 Inasmuch as lines from central heating are located in heated rooms
or in parts between heated rooms of a user and their
heat emission can be influenced by free-lying isolation devices,
there are no requirements regarding the minimum thickness of the insulation
layer.
2 For hot-water lines in apartments up to an inner diameter of
22 mm, that are neither included in the circulation nor are equipped with
an electrical concomitant heating, there are no requirements regarding the
minimum thickness of the insulation layer.
3 Recommendation: asymmetrical isopact 13 mm insulation.
Advantage: reduces the pipe distances in contrast to concentric insulation
material and can be better installed within the impact sound insulation.
