Of the non-elastic paper liner allows an even and
targeted expansion of the cold shrinking only in the
area where the bonding is made
Processing instructions:
The underground must be clean, dry and free of dust,
grease and oil. Bond the BTI cold shrink ring with approx.
10 % over-expansion without creasing. To ensure
that the over-expansion is transmitted to the cold shrink
ring in a targeted and even manner, the separating
paper must always be pulled off to just the extent of the
bonding itself. When bonding screws and rivets, make
sure there is a lateral overlap of 15 mm. When bonding
pipe fittings, the tape must be expanded until it is
also on the reduced area without creasing. If the tape
is later penetrated by rivets or screws, then you must
wait for 24 hours to ensure that the tape is completely
shrunk before screwing.

The underground must be dry, clean and grease-free

the roll onto the sealing flange
