Range of application:
Universally applicable for installation frame adhesion,
center manufacture, veneer joint adhesion and
adhesion of flat laminate boards, joint and frame
adhesion of hard and soft woods.
Fitting adhesive D3
Waterproof adhesive for adhesion with top strain on the basis of a PVAC dispersion (polyvinylacetate)
g Meets D3 usage group according to DIN/EN 204
and with 5% D4 power hardener
g Short pressing times
g Suitable for warm and cold adhesion
g High binding strength with hard and exotic woods
too
Range of application:
Ideal for window, door and stair adhesion, separating
wall and element manufacture, adhesion of flat
laminate boards, cone and wedge-shaped dovetails,
for hard and exotic woods. Suitable for nut and feather
adhesion with parquet and laminate laid in floating
manner. Not suitable for processing parquet in the
attic.
Processing instructions:
The materials for adhesion must be free from dust,
grease and ventilated. Ideal wood humidity for D2
adhesive 8 – 12% (max. 15%), for D3 adhesive
10 – 14%. The most ideal processing temperature
is +18 °C to +20 °C. Do not process below +10 °C.
BTI adhesives are ready-for-use; diluting and adding
thinners change the adhesive. Double-sided application
of the adhesive is recommended for hard and exotic
woods. Application type with brush, notched trowel,
hand adhesive device and adhesive application
machines. Wood and wooden materials are natural
materials where, regardless of the place of growth,
colorings can occasionally occur due to wood-specific
properties.

Power hardener for application as D4 adhesive
For application as D4 adhesive with power hardener
stir in set amount of hardener (5%) until good mixture
is achieved. After completion of the pot time of 24 hrs
stir the remaining amount hard,
then the remaining amount can be
further processed as D3 adhesive
or more hardener can be added to
the remaining quantity to achieve
a D4 adhesion. See universal wood
