Diffusion tape EPDM

Easy to use with the 4W-Adhesive. The fluid
adhesive systems (on bitumen, for example, Roof
Supraflex) ensure no soiling of building elements.

Range of application:
Used for vapor porous sealing of connection joints in external
areas such as house, balcony and terrace doors,
window elements in socket areas, facade elements and
conservatories.
Processing instructions:
Subsurfaces must be clean, dry, sturdy,
and free of grease, oil and other anti-adhesive elements.
Unwind the Diffusion tape EPDM and cut including
minimum 5cm excess. Remove masking paper from
adhesive strip, press fixing strips carefully onto frames
or backs of the building elements on all sides that need
to be sealed. Use to use 4W-Adhesive to glue the embrasure
and socket sides, and Roof Supraflex to glue to
all subsurfaces that contain bitumen.

Used for vapor diffusionproof sealing of connection
joints in internal areas.
Processing instructions:
Subsurfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust and
grease. Clean subsurfaces with BTI PVC Cleaner.
You must allow the cleaner to evaporate and remove
any occurring evaporation moisture. Fit the strip and
cut off accordingly. Attention: Maintain an extension
joint (approx. 0.5 – 1 mm), do not clamp the strip!

Self-adhesive synthetic installation strip used to seal connection joints in internal areas
Remove approx. 10 – 20 cm of the protective film from
the adhesive tape. Position and align the strip (leaving
approx. 1 mm distance from the plaster/masonry).
Remove the remaining protective film from between
the area you are gluing to and the strip, and apply
equal firm pressure to the adhesive bond. Use BTI Seal
MS-P or Diskit to fill in the resulting movement joint,
thereby applying an air and vapor diffusionproof seal.
The width of the joint will be determined by the strip.
No need to use a backfill band.
