Range of application:
Used for vapor diffusionproof sealing of joints in internal
areas.
Processing instructions:
Subsurfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust and
grease. Clean subsurfaces with BTI PVC Cleaner. You
must allow the cleaner to evaporate and remove any
occurring evaporation moisture. Fit the strip and cut
off accordingly. Attention: Maintain an extension joint
(approx. 0.5 – 1 mm), do not clamp the strip! Remove
approx. 10 – 20 cm of the protective film from the
adhesive tape. Position and align the strip (leaving
approx. 1 mm distance from the plaster/masonry).
Remove the remaining protective film from between the
area you are gluing to and the strip, and apply equal
firm pressure to the adhesive bond. Use BTI Seal MS-P
or Diskit to fill in the resulting movement joint, thereby
applying an air and vapor diffusionproof seal. The width
of the joint will be determined by the strip. No need to
use a backfill band.
