Ch & St Paul’s, [Baltimore] Nov 19, [18]09.” The sermon is dog-eared, and the back<br />

cover is almost torn in two, but there is no writing on it. A few passages, including<br />

the words “from such turn away” in the biblical quotation, were bracketed by Bend<br />

presumably for deletion at subsequent preachings.<br />
