Commentary: Some pages <strong>of</strong> the sermon are torn out but seem to have been torn<br />

text, although terminal quotation marks are missing and writing is visible on the<br />

remains <strong>of</strong> the torn out pages. Evans gives Pattillo’s date <strong>of</strong> birth as 1726.<br />
