[1811].” This is the second of two sermons on the same biblical text. See accession
number 2066. The last page of the sermon contains a list of baptisms to be recorded
in the parish register. The sermon contains many underlinings for emphasis. It
is dog-eared, but the text is not damaged. An opening statement that the text is
proper for church may obliquely defend the possible political application of the
related sermon. The sermon ends with an exhortation to gain spiritual strength and
the favor of God by taking Communion.
