[1811].” This is the second <strong>of</strong> two sermons on the same biblical text. See accession<br />

number 2066. The last page <strong>of</strong> the sermon contains a list <strong>of</strong> baptisms to be recorded<br />

in the parish register. The sermon contains many underlinings for emphasis. It<br />

is dog-eared, but the text is not damaged. An opening statement that the text is<br />

proper for church may obliquely defend the possible political application <strong>of</strong> the<br />

related sermon. The sermon ends with an exhortation to gain spiritual strength and<br />

the favor <strong>of</strong> God by taking Communion.<br />
