As in his sermon on sloth finished on July 19th (see accession number 1998), in this<br />

sermon, Bend has much to say about the evils <strong>of</strong> idleness in addition to his main<br />

argument against too much attention to worldly things.<br />

(although there is only one explicit reference) and those seeking true religion<br />

through laws or the light <strong>of</strong> nature.<br />
