Commentary: The sermon is located in the Brock Collection <strong>of</strong> Virginiana, Box 120.<br />

The sermon is imperfect. The sermon proper concludes on page 17, but the bottom<br />

half <strong>of</strong> that page is missing. Page 18 bears the notation that this work is a “Sermon<br />

by Rev. Mr. Buchan <strong>of</strong> Stafford Co. Successor to the Rev John Moncure.” There is an<br />
