A note on the top of the first page of the booklet reads “Balaam’s Wish/2d part-.”
Although no date is given on this sermon, an approximate date might be inferred
by the companion sermon on the same subject, “Baalam’s Wish in 7 parts” (see
accession number 3055). That sermon was first preached in 1754. For information
