the text <strong>of</strong> the sermon is complete. Page 29 <strong>of</strong> the sermon is written inside the back<br />

cover. The cover is separated from the rest <strong>of</strong> the sermon. Bend originally included<br />

verse 15 in his biblical reference, but he later lined through the verse.<br />

[Baltimore,] May 10, 1807.” The top <strong>of</strong> the penultimate leaf <strong>of</strong> the sermon (pp.<br />

27-28) is torn, as are the top and hinge <strong>of</strong> the back cover, but the text is complete.<br />

The last page <strong>of</strong> the sermon contains a list <strong>of</strong> baptisms to be recorded in the parish<br />

register.<br />
