Commentary: The sermon is imperfect. It is incomplete at the end. A note at<br />

the head <strong>of</strong> the sermon reads “Rd. Mr. Archer.” A note on the verso reads in an<br />

unidentified hand “For Pentecost.” This work is possibly based on a sermon by Rev.<br />

James Archer, but its origin has not been verified. It is not printed in Hanley. For<br />
