Commentary: This sermon is the first of two included in a 12 page booklet, both

note at the end of page twelve, which is set apart from the second sermon by a line,
explains Cradock’s inability to deliver a sermon because of poor weather. F. Garner
Ranney suggests that the note belongs at the beginning of this first sermon. For
