no text is lost. This is one <strong>of</strong> five sermons on the parable <strong>of</strong> the sower; see accession<br />

numbers 1930, 1931, 1934, and 1936.<br />

[Baltimore, March] 6, [18]08.” The author also noted on the front cover, “Proper for<br />

Lent.” The sermon begins inside the front cover instead <strong>of</strong> on the opposite page as<br />

usual. The last page <strong>of</strong> the sermon contains a list <strong>of</strong> baptisms to be recorded in the<br />

parish register.<br />
