[18]10.” The last page <strong>of</strong> the sermon contains a list <strong>of</strong> baptisms to be recorded in the<br />

parish register. The cover <strong>of</strong> the sermon is sewn on slightly askew, so that page 29,<br />

written inside the back cover, has the beginnings <strong>of</strong> lines slightly obscured by the<br />

hinge, which is also somewhat tattered. Apparently, only a few letters are lost at the<br />

beginning <strong>of</strong> line 9 and <strong>of</strong> the last six lines at the bottom <strong>of</strong> the page, where a word<br />

is lost from the penultimate line and one or two from the last line.<br />

verses 39 and 40 in the biblical text, but he later crossed out the latter verses.<br />
