Commentary: Accession number 46 is the second <strong>of</strong> two sermons bound together in<br />

the order accession number 45 and accession number 46. A very few emendations<br />

to the first sermon (see number 45) and a long, unrelated passage on the final blank<br />

leaf are in the hand <strong>of</strong> Rev. Arnold Livers. Pages are numbered 497-500, 500-501.<br />

Attwood, a Jesuit, served in Maryland from 1712 until his death.<br />

Commentary: Accession number 50 is the fourth <strong>of</strong> four sermons bound together<br />

in the order accession number 47, accession number 48, accession number 49, and<br />

accession number 50. A few emendations occur throughout the manuscript in the<br />

hand <strong>of</strong> Rev. Arnold Livers. The whole is in a wrapper bearing, inside, 16 lines <strong>of</strong><br />

Latin verse signed “Jacobus Clifton” and, outside, capsule titles for the sermons in<br />

Livers’ hand. Pages are numbered 853-863. Attwood, a Jesuit, served in Maryland<br />

from 1712 until his death.<br />
