Commentary: Green’s “Journal” (accession number 4065) does not mention the<br />

preaching <strong>of</strong> this sermon at a particular place/date. The bottom third <strong>of</strong> page 31<br />

and all <strong>of</strong> page 32 are in a darker ink and likely added at a later time as mention is<br />

made <strong>of</strong> “the Occasion <strong>of</strong> our present Meeting” [31]. See accession numbers 4060<br />

Commentary: Green’s “Journal” <strong>of</strong> his mission trip is included in this bibliography<br />

because it establishes the places and dates for four <strong>of</strong> the sermons he preached<br />

in Virginia and North Carolina and a number <strong>of</strong> others preached there which<br />

apparently do not survive. Following his trip chronologically, Green travels from<br />

Virginia to North Carolina and back to Virginia before returning to New Jersey,<br />
