Community Psychology: Common Values, Diverse Practicesprocess resulted in the modification of representations: representations of gender roles and gender identitydynamics, self-esteem, feeling of self and group efficacy, representations of work, but also representations offormal and informal power relations, representations of political games and stakes surrounding and crossing theirgroup. On these last two points, and midway through this research program, it is clear that we must maintaincritical vigilance towards the participatory methods, especially by being attentive to the complex issues associatedwith them. No group, be it oppressed, is homogeneous. It is segmented, crossed by antagonisms, contradictionsand issues related to power struggles. Being aware of these antagonisms within the group constituting whatGramsci called the dispersed power as recalled D'Avila (2005), leads us to asking ourselves how to integrate andmaterialize them in the latter stages of the program. This is one of the difficulties of participation, or rather, one ofits challenges to achieve its aim of empowerment. For the group, the challenge is therefore that these womenremain, at their extent, development actors, both here and over there.ReferencesBrundtland,G.H.(1987).
