The Didactic Speech in a Semiotic ContextLaura ADUMITROAIE - POPOVICIIonela-Mihaela GAFENCU - BÂNDIULUniversity of SuceavaAbstract: This article aims to trace the guiding lines of didactic speech inthe context of semiotic mechanism activation and to outline a strategy to streamlinethe teaching process through paratext which follows the route of constitutivesteps of the didactic speech.Keywords: didactic speech, semiosis, paratext, production, reception.What seems to define the mental configuration of today’sstudent is a continuous agitation to obtain information necessaryto his academic education as easily as possible, without a sustainedand conscious effort. Frome here we conclude that the didacticspeech needs to undergo a revival process, a re-calibrationmeant to determine its adjustment to the needs of both the didacticrecipient and the emitter, given the transformations of theage we live in. The change, a constant presence in the contemporarysociety, affects the human existence in all its fields of expression,be they social, cultural, economic, political or emotional.Thus, the didactic speech contains irregularities depending on theconfiguration of changes that occur in the user’s mind.Considering all of the above, we intend to find a strategy formaking the didactic speech more efficient, starting from its productionstage to its reception.
