The work of the seminary will consist of reports and theses upon<br />

educational problems, and of discussions upon the theory and practice<br />

of teaching. It must be preceded by the course on the Philosophy of<br />

Education, or by that upon Educational Psychology.<br />

33. Seminary for the History and Philosophy of Religion.<br />

In this course,<br />

graduate students who have undertaken theses on<br />

the History or of Philosophy Religion will be assisted in the work of<br />

investigation.<br />

MUSIC.<br />

1. Chorus. Course in chorus singing. Chorus work, including<br />

chanting and the of chorales and study choruses.<br />

This course is open to students a required passing test examination<br />

in reading music. Examination held at the opening of the Univer<br />

sity year. Attendance at two rehearsals each week and at the morn<br />

service ing in Sage Chapel is required.<br />

Rehearsals, Tuesday, 5:00 to 6:15; Thursday, 7:15 to 8:15 p.m.,<br />

Sage Chapel. Two hours. Mr. Chadwick.<br />

2. Advanced Chorus. Sight reading, study, interpretation, and<br />

public presentation of the best choral works. This course is offered<br />

as advanced training to students good voices and who<br />

possessing have<br />

had elementary instruction in musical notation. Examination for<br />

admission will be held at the opening of the university year. Mem<br />

bers of this class will unite with the Conservatory Chorus, which will<br />

participate in the vesper services.<br />
