COURSE OF INSTRUCTION.<br />

The course of instruction extends through three years of nine<br />

months each.* The object of the college is to afford a thorough train<br />

ing in the fundamental principles of Anglo-American law, both<br />

the substantive law and the law of procedure. Instruction is carried<br />

on by the study of selected cases, text-books, and syllabi, by lectures<br />

and exposition, and by colloquy and discussion. In addition to the<br />

courses given by the resident Faculty, provision is made each year for<br />

courses of lectures by eminent specialists in the profession.<br />
