The degree of Civil Engineer, C.E., is conferred upon such candi<br />

dates as may successfully complete the four year undergraduate course<br />

(see pages 284-286) and present a satisfactory thesis, upon the recom<br />

mendation of the faculty of the College of Civil Engineering<br />

Board of Trustees.<br />

Graduate Courses and Advanced Degrees.<br />

Graduate courses may be pursued by resident and non-resident<br />

graduates under the regulations mentioned on pages 68-72. Such<br />

courses are also open to graduates of any institution having an equi<br />

valent curriculum, when such graduates are accepted as candidates by<br />

the Faculty of this College. All graduate students are under the<br />

jurisdiction of the <strong>University</strong> Faculty.<br />

The degrees of Master of Civil Engineering (M.C.E. ), and Doctor<br />

of Philosophy are (Ph.D.) conferred after the conditions are fulfilled<br />

which are detailed on pages 71, 72.
