Plate of rice 1<br />

Objective: Illustrate the concept of equity<br />

Materials: A plate of rice (or a picture or drawing)<br />

Procedure:<br />

1. Take two people (a man <strong>and</strong> a woman, if possible) <strong>and</strong> give the<br />

following example:<br />

“This man works very, very, very hard. He has too much work.<br />

He has to get up early in the morning <strong>and</strong> go to work, trying<br />

to work as much as possible. Nobody can help him. He does<br />

not sleep enough, has no time to practise any sport <strong>and</strong> he<br />
