3. Questions should highlight the different opportunities the<br />

card holder has in his/her stereotypical role: for example, in<br />

response to a question “Do you have control over your assets?”,<br />

or “Are you educated?” the card holder with a role<br />

“peasant wife” might take a step backward while the “village<br />

chief” takes a step forward.<br />

4. Tailor the questions carefully according to the regional/<br />

country needs. The trainer may want to use this methodology<br />

where participants believe there are no gender inequalities.<br />

Note: The facilitator should remind the participants once again that<br />

underst<strong>and</strong>ing the different gender impacts allows the participants to<br />

look at climate change issues with a HUMAN FACE.
