The overall water year trend (Table 7.8) is strikingly similar to the October through February<br />

season with respect to the pattern and magnitude <strong>of</strong> statistically valid trends. Both seasons<br />

suggest a trend <strong>of</strong> increasing flows in the Sprague and Williamson Rivers when the entire record<br />

is examined, and declining trends in the middle to late portions <strong>of</strong> the 20 th Century. No<br />

statistically significant trend is present in the 1991 and 2001 through 2012 periods.<br />
