Services<br />

The <strong>Orange</strong> Business Services brand covers:<br />

■ the Enterprise Communication Services (ECS) entity, which<br />

provides <strong>com</strong>munication services to multinationals and<br />

French SMEs and large accounts (1) ;<br />

■ and <strong>Orange</strong> subsidiaries’ Business-to-Business (B2B)<br />

activities.<br />

<strong>Orange</strong> Business Services covers all the Group’s business<br />

customers in 166 countries and regions where it provides local<br />

technical and <strong>com</strong>mercial assistance.<br />

In <strong>2009</strong>, ECS generated revenues of 7.6 billion euros before<br />

intra-group eliminations. In addition to <strong>France</strong> <strong>Tele<strong>com</strong></strong> S.A.’s<br />

and Equant’s business activity, this business sector includes<br />

several subsidiaries, each with its own specifi c expertise,<br />

including: Etrali (trading solutions), Almerys (healthcare), <strong>Orange</strong><br />

Consulting, Multimedia Business Services (multimedia contact<br />

centers), Neocles (virtualization solutions) Sili<strong>com</strong>p (design and<br />

development of onboard Machine to Machine applications),<br />

Data & Mobiles (vehicle fl eet management), Obiane and <strong>Tele<strong>com</strong></strong><br />

System (secure network integration), EGT (video-conferencing<br />

equipment), and GlobeCast (multimedia distribution systems).<br />

6.3.6.1 Market<br />

<strong>France</strong> <strong>Tele<strong>com</strong></strong> Group operates under the brand name <strong>Orange</strong><br />

Business Services, both in <strong>France</strong> and internationally, on the<br />

Business <strong>com</strong>munication and IT services markets. This market<br />

is part of the Information and Communications Technologies<br />

(ICT) sector, which brings together technologies used to<br />

process and send information (primarily IT and <strong>com</strong>munication<br />

technologies). This market is worth around 900 billion euros<br />

worldwide, of which around 45% is due to tele<strong>com</strong>munications.<br />
