MEETING INFORMATION
Ask Me Staff
If you have a question about the meeting or need directions to
a room, look for one of the Ask Me staff who will be available
throughout the convention center.
Cell Phones, Pages, PDAs & Other Electronic Devices
As a courtesy to meeting attendees, electronic devices must be
operated in silent/vibrate mode within educational sessions;
devices that beep, ring, etc. are prohibited. Cell phone
conversations are not permitted in meeting rooms.
Attire
Attire is business casual. Suits and ties are not required.
However, we suggest you bring a jacket or sweater as the
temperatures in the meeting rooms vary.
Children
Children are not permitted in the educational sessions. To be
admitted in the Exhibit Hall and social events, individuals 18
years of age and over are required to pay the guest fee. An
adult must accompany children at all times. Strollers, roller
blades and children’s scooters are not permitted in the Exhibit
Hall. You may arrange for child care through your hotel’s guest
services department.
Exhibit Hall
Exhibitors provide the latest information on products and
services available to rheumatologists, researchers and other
health professionals. The 2010 Exhibit Hall is located in Halls A1
and A2 of the Georgia World Congress Center.
New this year in the Exhibit Hall is the Replay Café. Visit the
Replay Café to see missed sessions and grab a snack or lunch. In
addition, visit one of the networking lounges in the Exhibit Hall
to meet and catch up with your colleagues.
NEW HOURS! We have revised Exhibit Hall hours based on your
feedback:
Monday, November 8: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Tuesday, November 9: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm
Wine and Cheese Reception from 5:15 – 6:45 pm
Wednesday, November 10: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
The Innovation Theater is back by popular demand. Join
participating exhibitors as they present a variety of topics in
45-minute sessions.
Food Service
Pre-conference courses include a continental breakfast
and a box lunch. Beverages are provided for Meet the
Professor and Workshop sessions. Morning snack will be
available in the poster hall from 9:00 – 10:30 am, Monday –
Wednesday. Afternoon refreshment breaks will be available
in the Exhibit Hall on Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 – 3:00
pm. Complimentary coffee and light refreshments will be
available in the exhibit hall from 9:00 – 10:00 am, Monday –
Wednesday. On Thursday, complimentary coffee will be served
from 7:30–9:00 am in the International Boulevard Foyer of
the convention center. Food outlets will be open in several
locations throughout the Georgia World Congress Center,
including the Exhibit Hall. On Monday through Thursday, the
Terrace Restaurant (Building B) will be open for breakfast from
2010 Program Book
6:30 – 10:30 am and will offer a continental breakfast for $9.95
and a hot buffet breakfast for $14.95. A luncheon buffet will be
served from 11:30 am – 3:00 pm for $14.95.
Meeting Room Capacity/Important Fire Safety Information
Attendance at scientific sessions is on a first-come, first-served
basis. Rooms which have reached the maximum capacity
may be closed according to local fire and safety regulations.
Standing in the aisle or against the walls is not permitted. If
overcrowding occurs, staff/security personnel will close the
session. If space does not permit you to attend a session, the
session may be available on SessionSelect or replayed in the Inroom
Encore Theater or the Replay Café in the Exhibit Hall.
Photography and Videotaping
Photographers will be present at the meeting. Registration
and attendance at, or participation in, ACR meetings and other
activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant for the
ACR’s use and distribution (both now and in the future) of
the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs,
videotapes, electronic reproductions, and audio tapes of
such events and activities. Visual reproduction of sessions is
prohibited without prior written permission of the ACR. The
ACR reserves the rights to audio and video reproduction at the
2010 ACR/ARHP Annual Scientific Meeting. See copyrighted
materials policy for more information on page 8.

Wheelchair & Scooter Rentals
If you did not make advance arrangements for an electric
wheelchair or scooter, you can do so by calling ScootAround
at (888) 441-7575 or by visiting the FedEx/Kinkos Business
Center in the International Boulevard Lobby entrance of the
Georgia World Congress Center.
Name Badges
For security reasons, your badge will be required for
admittance to all sessions, exhibits, social events and shuttle
buses. Please wear your badge so it can be easily seen at all
times. Lost badges should be reported to the registration staff
immediately.
Emergency Contact Information
Space is provided on the back of your badge to list name
and telephone numbers of your emergency contacts. Please
complete this information before inserting your badge in your
badge holder.
No Smoking
All meeting facilities at the convention center, hotel meeting
rooms and other venues have been designated as non-smoking
areas.
Opening Event at the Georgia Aquarium
Sunday, November 7 at 7:00 pm
Mingle with friends and colleagues as your walk alongside
spectacular aquatic wonders in the largest indoor aquarium in
the world. The Georgia Aquarium will be open to an exclusive
audience - you! Tickets are $40 and are available on a firstcome,-first-served
basis. To pick up or purchase ticket(s), please
visit the registration hall in the International Boulevard foyer.
