While passing intersections, mean reaction times and fractions missed<br />

increased fur<strong>the</strong>r for all functional age groups (Figure 6.2). Differences<br />

between age groups, however, remained more or less <strong>the</strong> same. When<br />

considering <strong>the</strong> passing of intersections as being a third baseline, one that<br />

indicates <strong>the</strong> average difficulty of passing intersections regardless of <strong>the</strong><br />

intersection design, mixed between‐within analysis of variance showed<br />

results very similar to those in Table 6.4. However, when just comparing <strong>the</strong><br />
