Sleep and Auto Sleep<br />

Auto Sleep<br />

To enter Sleep, press the Power key. Touch panel and<br />

all indicators on the operation panel will go out to save<br />

a maximum amount of power except the Main Power<br />

indicator. This status is referred to as Sleep.<br />

If print data is received during Sleep, the print job is<br />

performed while the touch panel remains unlit.<br />

When using the optional fax, received fax data is printed<br />

out while the operation panel also remains unlit.<br />

To resume, press the Power key. The 25/25 ppm or 30/<br />

30 ppm model will be ready to use within 30 seconds,<br />

while the 40/40 ppm or 50/40 ppm model will be ready<br />

within 45 seconds.<br />

Note that ambient environmental conditions, such as<br />

ventilation, may cause the machine to respond more<br />

slowly.<br />

Auto Sleep automatically switches the machine into Sleep if left idle for a preset time in the Low Power Mode.<br />

The default preset time is 30 minutes.<br />
