Fructus Foeniculi * Definition Fructus Foeniculi consists of the dried ripe fruits of Foeniculum vulgare Mill. However, in the biological literature, a clear delineation at the variety level is generally not made. Therefore, this monograph has not made the distinction between the “bitter” and “sweet” varieties. 127
