Comminuted herb used for infusions and other Galenical preparations<br />

for <strong>int</strong>ernal use. Juice of the leaves of Plantago major (89).<br />

Posology<br />

(Unless otherwise indicated)<br />

Internal. Granules of dried leaf: 2–4 g three times daily, before meals (38).<br />

Infusion: one tablespoon of an infusion (10 g dried leaf in 200 ml boiled<br />

water for 15–20 minutes) three times daily before meals (89). Liquid extract:<br />

2–4 ml of a liquid extract from dried leaf (1:1 in 25% ethanol) three<br />
