Copper from the solutions that contain KI is extracted at a rate of 100%<br />

(table 3 and figure 2a,b,c). Copper extraction from the solutions that contain<br />

KCl and CH 3 COONa is very similar and the graph curves of extraction have<br />

similar shape ( table 2, 4 and figure 1a,b,c ; 3a,b,c). A common characteristic<br />

is the low yield extracted copper from solutions of HCl with c=2 mol dm -3 .<br />

And the high yield from solutions with c=6 mol dm -3 . Concluding that the<br />

effect of concentration of HCl on the percentage of the extraction is high,<br />

whereas the effect of concentration of salt is low.<br />
