8.4.1.8.5 UE positioning measurement<br />

Upon transition from idle mode to CELL_DCH state, the UE shall:<br />

1> stop monitoring assistance data received in System Information Block type 15 or System Information Block type<br />

15.1 or System Information Block type 15.2 or System Information Block type 15.3 or System Information<br />

Block type 15.4 or System Information Block type 15.5 or System Information Block type 15bis or System<br />

Information Block type 15.1bis or System Information Block type 15.1ter or System Information Block type<br />

15.2bis or System Information Block type 15.2ter or System Information Block type 15.3bis or System<br />

Information Block type 15.6 or System Information Block type 15.7 or System Information Block type 15.8.<br />

8.4.1.9 Measuremen<strong>ts</strong> after transition from idle mode to CELL_FACH state<br />

The UE shall obey the follow rules for different measurement types after transiting from idle mode to CELL_FACH<br />

state:<br />

8.4.1.9.1 Intra-frequency measurement<br />

Upon transition from idle mode to CELL_FACH state, the UE shall:<br />

1> begin or continue monitoring cells listed in the IE "intra-frequency cell info list" received in System Information<br />

Block type 12 (or System Information Block type 11, according to subclause 8.1.1.6.11).<br />

8.4.1.9.2 Inter-frequency measurement<br />

Upon transition from idle mode to CELL_FACH state, the UE shall:<br />

1> begin or continue monitoring cells listed in the IE "inter-frequency cell info list" received in System Information<br />

Block type 12 (or System Information Block type 11, according to subclause 8.1.1.6.11);<br />

1> for FDD, if variable HS_DSCH_RECEPTION_CELL_FACH_STATE is set to TRUE and the variable<br />

HS_DSCH_DRX_CELL_FACH_STATUS is set to TRUE:<br />

2> perform measuremen<strong>ts</strong> on other frequencies according to the requiremen<strong>ts</strong> in [19], during the frame(s) with<br />

the SFN value not fulfiling the inequality specified in subclause 8.5.49.<br />

1> for FDD, if variable HS_DSCH_RECEPTION_CELL_FACH_STATE is set to TRUE and the variable<br />

HS_DSCH_DRX_CELL_FACH_2CYCLE_STATUS is set to TRUE:<br />

2> perform measuremen<strong>ts</strong> on other frequencies according to the requiremen<strong>ts</strong> in [19], during the frame(s) with<br />

the SFN value not fulfiling the inequality specified in subclause 8.5.49b.<br />

1> otherwise:<br />

2> perform measuremen<strong>ts</strong> on other frequencies, according to the IE "FACH measurement occasion info", as<br />

specified in subclause 8.5.11.<br />

1> for TDD:<br />

2> perform measuremen<strong>ts</strong> on other frequencies according to the IE "FACH measurement occasion info".<br />

8.4.1.9.3 Inter-RAT measurement<br />

Upon transition from idle mode to CELL_FACH state, the UE shall:<br />

1> begin or continue monitoring cells listed in the IE "inter-RAT cell info list" received in System Information<br />

Block type 12 (or System Information Block type 11, according to subclause 8.1.1.6.11);<br />

1> if the IE "CELL_FACH Absolute Priority Measurement Indicator" is present in System Information Block type<br />

19:<br />

2> continue monitoring the list of E-UTRA frequencies assigned in the IE "E-UTRA frequency and priority info<br />

list" in System Information Block type 19.<br />
