4> set the variable CONFIGURATION_INCOMPLETE to TRUE.<br />

If IE "Traffic volume measurement" is received by the UE in a MEASUREMENT CONTROL message, where IE<br />

"measurement command" has the value "setup", but IE "Traffic volume reporting quantity" or is not received, the UE<br />

shall:<br />

1> set the variable CONFIGURATION_INCOMPLETE to TRUE.<br />

8.6.7.11 Traffic Volume Measurement Reporting Criteria<br />

If the IE "Traffic Volume Measurement Reporting Criteria" is received by the UE, the UE shall:<br />

1> if the IE "Parameters sent for each transport channel" is absent:<br />

2> set the variable PROTOCOL_ERROR_REJECT to TRUE;<br />

2> set the IE "Protocol error cause" in the variable PROTOCOL_ERROR_INFORMATION to "Information<br />

element missing".<br />

1> for each IE "Parameters sent for each transport channel":<br />

2> if the IE "Parameters required for each Event" is absent:<br />

3> set the variable CONFIGURATION_INCOMPLETE to TRUE.<br />

8.6.7.12 FACH measurement occasion info<br />

IE "FACH measurement occasion info" is used to control UE measurement activities in inter-frequency and inter-RAT<br />

cells in CELL_FACH state.<br />

For FDD and 1.28 Mcps TDD when variable HS_DSCH_RECEPTION_CELL_FACH_STATE is set to FALSE, or for<br />

3.84Mcps TDD and 7.68Mcps TDD: if IE "FACH measurement occasion info" is received, UE shall, when in<br />

CELL_FACH state:<br />

1> if IE "FACH Measurement occasion cycle length coefficient" is included:<br />

2> if, according to i<strong>ts</strong> measurement capabilities, UE is not able to perform some of the indicated measuremen<strong>ts</strong><br />

in this IE simultaneously as receiving the SCCPCH of serving cell:<br />

3> perform those measuremen<strong>ts</strong> during FACH measurement occasions, see subclause 8.5.11.<br />

2> if, according to i<strong>ts</strong> measurement capabilities, UE is able to perform some of the indicated measuremen<strong>ts</strong> in<br />

this IE simultaneously as receiving the SCCPCH of serving cell:<br />

3> UE may perform measuremen<strong>ts</strong> also on other occasions.<br />

2> if, according to i<strong>ts</strong> measurement capabilities, UE is able to perform the measuremen<strong>ts</strong> and indicated in this IE<br />

simultaneously as receiving the SCCPCH of serving cell:<br />

3> perform the measuremen<strong>ts</strong> simultaneously as receiving the SCCPCH of serving cell.<br />

1> if IE "FACH Measurement occasion cycle length coefficient" is not included:<br />

2> perform those indicated measuremen<strong>ts</strong> indicated in this IE that UE, according to i<strong>ts</strong> measurement capabilities,<br />

is able to perform simultaneously as receiving the SCCPCH of serving cell.<br />

1> if IE "Inter-frequency FDD measurement indicator" is set to TRUE:<br />

2> perform measuremen<strong>ts</strong> and evaluate cell re-selection criteria according to [4] on inter-frequency FDD cells<br />

listed in "System Information Block type 11", "System Information Block type 11bis", if scheduled on BCH,<br />

and "System Information Block type 12", if scheduled on BCH.<br />

1> if IE "Inter-frequency FDD measurement indicator" is set to FALSE:<br />

2> neither perform measuremen<strong>ts</strong> nor evaluate cell re-selection criteria on inter-frequency FDD cells.<br />
