3> initiate the cell update procedure with cell update cause "cell reselection" as specified in subclause<br />

8.3.1.2.<br />

2> if the UE is in CELL_PCH state:<br />

3> initiate the cell update procedure with cell update cause "uplink data transmission" as specified in<br />

subclause 8.3.1.2.<br />

8.5.48 Actions related to HS_DSCH_DRX_CELL_FACH_STATUS variable<br />

(FDD and 1.28 Mcps TDD only) and<br />

HS_DSCH_DRX_CELL_FACH_2CYCLE_STATUS variable (FDD<br />

only)<br />

The HS-DSCH_DRX_CELL_FACH_2CYCLE_STATUS variable shall be set to TRUE only when the following<br />

conditions are met:<br />

1> the UE suppor<strong>ts</strong> HS-DSCH DRX operation with second DRX cycle in CELL_FACH state;<br />

1> the UE is in CELL_FACH state;<br />

1> the UE has a dedicated H-RNTI configured;<br />

1> the IE’s "HS-DSCH DRX in CELL_FACH Information" and "Common E-DCH system info" have been<br />

received from System Information Block Type 5 or System Information Block Type 5bis and the IE "HS-DSCH<br />

DRX in CELL_FACH with second DRX cycle Information" has been received from System Information Block<br />

Type 22.<br />

If any of the above conditions is not met and the HS_DSCH_DRX_CELL_FACH_2CYCLE _STATUS variable is set<br />

to TRUE, the UE shall:<br />

1> stop any ongoing CELL_FACH HS-DSCH DRX operation with second DRX cycle;<br />

1> set the HS_DSCH_DRX_CELL_FACH_2CYCLE _STATUS to FALSE;<br />

1> stop the timer T328, if it is ongoing;<br />

1> stop the timer T329, if it is ongoing.<br />

If the HS-DSCH_DRX_CELL_FACH_2CYCLE_STATUS variable is set to FALSE, the<br />

HS_DSCH_DRX_CELL_FACH_STATUS variable shall be set to TRUE only when the following conditions are met:<br />

1> the UE suppor<strong>ts</strong> HS-DSCH DRX operation in CELL_FACH state;<br />

1> the UE is in CELL_FACH state;<br />

1> the UE has a dedicated H-RNTI configured;<br />

1> the IE "HS-DSCH DRX in CELL_FACH Information" for FDD or IE "HS-DSCH DRX in CELL_FACH<br />

Information 1.28 Mcps TDD" for 1.28 Mcps TDD has been received from System Information Block Type 5 or<br />

System Information Block Type 5bis;<br />

1> for 1.28 Mcps TDD, UE with dedicated H-RNTI configured, after transitting from CELL_PCH to CELL_FACH<br />

state, has detected i<strong>ts</strong> dedicated H-RNTI on HS-SCCH indicating HS-DSCH reception;<br />

1> for FDD, either of the following conditions is met:<br />

2> the value of the IE "DRX Interruption by HS-DSCH data" received from System Information Block Type 5<br />

or System Information Block Type 5bis has been set to TRUE; or<br />

2> the UE suppor<strong>ts</strong> common E-DCH transmission and the IE "Common E-DCH system info" is included in<br />

System Information Block type 5 or System Information Block Type 5bis.<br />

If any of the above conditions is not met and the HS_DSCH_DRX_CELL_FACH_STATUS variable is set to TRUE,<br />

the UE shall:<br />
