EXTRAVERSION AT GROUP LEVEL<br />

Extraversion was the main personality factor with which the individual made an<br />

impact on the group. Extraversion is also very important where social interaction is not<br />

present. In group work extraversion is superseded by group performance. The point to<br />

note is that in putting together a negotiation team,<br />

extraversion must not be<br />

overemphasised. However, the personality composition <strong>of</strong> the team must be kept in<br />

mind.<br />

ANALVSIS OF COGNITIVE ABILITY<br />

Research done in this regard indicated that an integrative settlement could be<br />

enhanced through the cognitive ability <strong>of</strong> one party. The second party can further<br />

enhance it.<br />

COGNITIVE ABILITY AND ITS RELATIONSHIP To NEGOTIATION<br />

Although this study is mainly about the role <strong>of</strong> emotion in negotiation, it seems<br />

worthwhile to investigate the role <strong>of</strong>cognitive ability in negotiation.<br />
