the implication <strong>of</strong> legally based lap-dancing clubs within the Republic <strong>of</strong><br />

enquiry will investigate several claims made surrounding the use <strong>of</strong> lapdancing<br />
clubs as a means <strong>of</strong> gaining entry for individuals to Irish territory,<br />
before disappearing into brothels as prostitutes.<br />
